Dream List Photo Journal Review

by Melissa at 2/6/2009 3:04:00 PM

March 3, 2009- Simply Stacie

There is so many things that I dream of doing someday whether it be from going on a dream vacation or becoming a nurse. I have all these ideas in my head about what I want to accomplish, but I have never bothered to put pen to paper and write it down. That was until I was introduced to the Dream List Photo Journals and given a copy of Dream List for My Amazing Life to review.

Melissa Borghorst is the creator of Dream List Media and offered me a chance to try out the Dream List for My Amazing Life Photo Journal. This is no ordinary journal as its designed for you to organize, realize and commemorate your life's dreams. It has a unique fill-in-the blank format to allow users to create personalized dream lists, map out action plans and organize dream contacts and resources. After achieving each dream, it provides photo and journal space to highlight each accomplishment. The finished product is a customized book about your exciting and fun-filled life to inspire future dreams to share with friends and family. These journals can also be used for children or teens to help them with their career path or just for fun!

Melissa Borghorst grew up dreaming big and had lots of exciting adventures that she wanted to accomplish in her lifetime. Since creating her own Dream List Photo Journal, she has done some pretty amazing things like skydiving, backpacking across Europe, becoming an author and entrepreneur and riding in a hot air balloon to name a few. And she has the pictures and details in her Dream List Photo Journal to prove it!

Melissa is also the host of an online radio show called Dream List Radio. She recently did a show for parents- Help Your Kids Achieve Their Dreams and invites you to check it out!

The Dream List Photo Journal sells for $16.95 and can be purchased by visiting Dream List Media or on Amazon.

My Review

I have to say that I was really impressed with this concept and love the idea of recording all the exciting things I would like to do or achieve in my lifetime. I'm a believer that if you think about something and focus on it, you will draw it into your life so by thinking of what you want to do or have, you will be attracting it to you. This is the Law of Attraction and this journal works with applying it in your life.

The Dream List Photo Journal is a hard cover book that is 132 pages long. It's divided up into different sections making it easy to navigate. The introduction gives a full and detailed explanation about how to use the book and is in easy to understand terms. There is a large amount of space for many many dreams to be recorded so you can think big and go wild with it which is what I did.

A few of my dreams were travelling over to Scotland and visiting the castles. I've dreamed about doing that since I was a kid, but never bothered to record it or even tell anyone about it. By recognizing it, I think that is the first step to make it a reality. I'm doing my research now to see about costs and to start saving to go! Another one of my dreams was to go back to school for Nursing and with the help of my Dream List Photo Journal, I have written down what I need to do to achieve that goal. I like that I can put anything my heart desires because it's my personal Dream Journal. I can imagine the satisfaction of putting up a picture of me graduating from university with a nursing degree in my journal!

I love this product and all its features and how it motivates me to take steps to going after what I want. The price is reasonable and is well worth it! I have a few friends who would love this product and am passing on the Dream List Media website to them.

Thanks to Melissa at Dream List Media for introducing me to this incredible and inspiring journal!

what are your travel dreams?

by Melissa at 2/5/2009 6:46:00 AM

what are your travel dreams?
regardless of how much and how often we travel, everyone has a dream trip they keep tucked away in the back of their minds for that “perfect someday” when we get to live it out. and many of us have taken amazing trips but find that the details get muddled over time, and the photos relegated to a box in the back of the closet or an obscure folder somewhere in our laptops.

dream list media has come up with a fun and practical way to keep track of our travels as well as plan for future trips: the dream list for the traveler.

this hardcover traveler’s journal is spiral bound so it lays open without a struggle. while many journals give you a pretty cover and blank pages inside, requiring you to do all the creative work in organizing, the dream list for the traveler is much more organized (perfect for those of us who can pack a month’s worth of stuff into one carry on bag, but can’t seem to find our notebooks half the time).

the introduction takes you through the dream travel journal process a simple step at a time, helping you create a quick and personalized system for organizing your thoughts and planning your dream trips. the table of contents is fill in the blank – you’re the one dreaming, so you’re the one who designates where your dreams are located in the book. there’s even a space in the “dream list” to set a due date for each dream, ensuring you’ll set some travel goals and reach them. with plenty of space to include photos and photo information, journaling about your experiences, and a spacious contact section in the back of the book, planning out your travel dreams and goals has never been easier.

every traveling diva should pick up one a dream list for the traveler for herself, and they make great gifts for any of your traveling diva friends as well.
